After completing a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Cambridge Stuart worked with ICI (Mond Division) and Exxon Chemicals Ltd (Fawley) before joining Burgoyne Consultants Ltd (BCL) in 1985 as a Process Safety Consultant. Stuart was Managing Director of BCL from 1990 to 2003.
Stuart joined Phoenix Loss Prevention Ltd in 2003.
He specializes in fire and explosion hazard assessment, with a particular interest in safety and loss prevention for the aerosols industry, building on expertise in the safe handling of LPG from his Exxon Chemicals experience.
Stuart is a keen golfer and, when time allows, officiates as a referee at R&A championships.
After completing an Honours Degree in Chemical Engineering at Aston University Marek worked with Nuclear Electric and Cremer & Warner Ltd before joining Burgoyne Consultants Ltd (BCL) in 1991 as a Process Safety Consultant. After progressing to Associate Director Marek left BCL in 2003 to form Phoenix Loss Prevention Ltd with Andrew Dickens.
He specializes in fire and explosion hazard assessments, hazardous area classification, consequence analysis, quantified risk assessments and incident investigations.
Marek enjoys rugby, cycling, motorsport and walking.
After completing an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cape Town in 1994, Neil worked in the South African mining industry with Anglo American plc before joining Marsh Inc. as an Engineering Risk Consultant. He transferred to the UK in 2002, and joined SABMiller plc in 2005, first as Group Risk Control Manager, and then Group Engineering Consultant (Water, Energy and Emissions). Following the acquisition of SABMiller by Anheuser-Busch InBev, he worked in the integration team as Global Director of CapEx.
Neil joined Phoenix Loss Prevention Ltd in 2017.
He specialises in industrial fire & explosion risk assessments, with a particular interest in combustible dust and gas hazards in the food and beverage industry.
Neil enjoys mountain biking, open water swimming, and throwing cricket or rugby balls at his two boys!
After completing a Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering at University of Cambridge in1984, Andrew joined Baker Perkins Ltd and completed a Masters Degree in Food Engineering in 1985. In 1989 Andrew joined General Foods Ltd, working in soluble coffee process development, before joining Burgoyne Consultants Ltd (BCL) in 1992. Andrew left BCL, as a Director, in 2003 to form Phoenix Loss Prevention Ltd with Marek Paduch.
Andrew specialises in industrial fire and explosion risk assessments and has published a number of papers on dust explosion hazards. He has also provided training to the UK Health and Safety Executive, on fire and explosion hazards, for inspectors in their Hazardous Installations Directorate.
Andrew is a keen cricket and rugby fan, who also enjoys playing golf and throwing Frisbees for Daisy, the family Border Collie!
